SUMMARY:ANCIENT SPELLS Pt. II
DESCRIPTION:Ancient Spells Pt. II – HELHEIM / TULUS / VOODUS / INFERNAL P
RESENCE March 27\, 2027\nIn March 2027\, we’ll bring back the dark past t
o Zwickau\, Germany!\nAfter the great show with GEHENNA\, CROMLECH and PENT
HOS last November\, and with our friends from HELL UNLEASHED sadly no longe
r organizing concerts\, we decided that the long tradition of underground s
hows in Zwickau must not come to an end.So we will continue to organize in
the future selected shows with DSR bands and friends at Club Seilerstraße.
And who knows… maybe one day this will grow into a small festival.\nWe st
art on March 27\, 2027 with ANCIENT SPELLS Pt. II and a very special line-u
p:\nHELHEIM (NOR)\n31 years after their last show in our region – during
the Pagan Triumph Tour with BEHEMOTH at Ratskeller Fraureuth in 1996 – HE
LHEIM will finally return! After witnessing their great performance at last
year’s Beyond The Gates Festival in Bergen\, we are more than happy to we
lcome them to our stage. And for this special occasion\, HELHEIM will perfor
m their legendary debut album Jormundgand in its entirety!Released in 1995\
, Jormundgand remains one of the strongest and\, in our opinion\, most unde
rrated albums to emerge from the Norwegian Black Metal scene of the 90s. Mo
re than three decades later\, its ancient atmosphere and power remain untou
ched. Those familiar with our DSR re-release of this classic will already kn
ow how much this album means to us.JORMUNDGAND – PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRET
 Y!\nTULUS (NOR)\nFormed in 1991\, TULUS belong to the oldest still-active b
ands of the Norwegian Black Metal underground. For more than three decades\,
the band has followed its own path\, remaining deeply rooted in the dark a
nd unmistakable spirit of Norwegian Black Metal while developing a sound an
d identity entirely their own. With eight full-length albums to their name\,
TULUS have built an impressive legacy – the latest chapter being their e
ighth album Morbid Desires\, released through Darkness Shall Rise Productio
ns in spring 2026.Raw\, sinister and unmistakably Norwegian\, TULUS represe
nt a part of the early Norwegian Black Metal tradition that has survived fo
r more than three decades without losing its identity.Despite their long hi
story\, TULUS are not a band you will often get the chance to witness live\
, which makes us even more pleased to welcome them as co-headliner of ANCIE
NT SPELLS Pt. II.More than 35 years after their formation\, the darkness is
still very much alive…\nVOODUS (SWE)\nHailing from Sweden and active sin
ce 2015\, VOODUS have carved their own path through the dark realms of Blac
k Metal over the past decade. With two full-length albums already to their n
ame\, the band has built a reputation for intense\, atmospheric and siniste
r Black Metal – deeply rooted in the genre’s traditions\, yet carrying
a strong identity of its own.VOODUS have also proven themselves on the road
\, completing three tours so far\, including two Scandinavian tours support
ing MAYHEM\, bringing their dark and powerful presence to stages across the
North. But there is another reason why we are especially pleased to have th
em as part of ANCIENT SPELLS Pt. II:Their third full-length album will be r
eleased in 2027 through Darkness Shall Rise Productions! We are extremely pr
oud and grateful to welcome VOODUS into the DSR roster and very much lookin
g forward to what lies ahead. And before the new album arrives\, we are happ
y to bring them to Zwickau. For the first time ever in Germany!\nINFERNAL P
RESENCE (GER)\nFollowing their debut EP Fiery Paths\, INFERNAL PRESENCE wil
l present material from their upcoming debut full-length album\, to be rele
ased through Darkness Shall Rise Productions in 2027.Prepare for a pitch-bl
ack hybrid of Black and Death Metal\, driven by hypnotizing riffs and an op
pressive\, threatening atmosphere that slowly drags you deeper into the aby
 ss.Tomb Procession…\n——————————————–\nANCIE
