13. SOLFERNUS ‘Once Upon A Time In The East’

The return of one of the cult Spanish death metal acts of the early ‘90s with a second album that combines both enthusiasm and liveliness – a recipe for success!
11. NAWABS OF DESTRUCTION
THE MERCILESS
Bangladesh might not be an ideal place for metal, however the duo shows that exoticism and greatness can coexist anywhere.
12. EMBLOODYMENT
MASTER OF DISASTER
At a time when the world seems to be a big circus, the Spanish quartet violently squash clown heads with a bat and death metal.
13. JUST DARKNESS
BETWEEN BIRTH AND DEATH
Taking off the hoods of the Russian anonymous duo just to catch a glimpse of uncanny blinding blackness with the certainty that dismay will fade away…
14. THE FLESH TRADING COMPANY
BLACK SPELL CONSPIRACY
Don’t be fooled by the way that the German quintet shares the devil’s potion! In the end, your soul will be collected with a grim smile…
15. VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC
AGAINST HUMANS, AGAINST ANIMALS, AGAINST EVERYTHING
Vaginal penetration of an amelus with a musty carrot…that sounds wickedly fun! Austrian grinding, plain and simple.
16. DISINFECT
WHITE LIGHTNING
After a decade without releasing anything new, the Germans gain a vehemence for the sort of guttural brutality that hides more than meets the eye on the third album.
17. HANGATYR
BLICK AUS EIS
Coldness creates the sort of numbness that, depending on the environment, might culminate in total bleakness. The German quartet walk the path of severe desolation…
18. HARSH
BIPOLAR CONFRONTATION
Recording in just one take gives the sort of viscerality and liveness that propels the intensity of vicious brutal death metal.

IMPALED NAZARENE – the fuck off attitude of the Finns is simply infectious and indicative of a posture that is usually spread across extreme fans. The scene might have evolved during the past 3 decades, especially the black metal one where they suit best, but the non-conformists have the very same essence that pushed them to become one of the most extreme bands in the first place. For many the words “Norz Norz Norz” might not stand for much, but for the quartet they mean everything!

AT THE GATES – progressing using alluring expansive melodies
NETHERBIRD – black metal gaining new dimensions of melody and fuzz

SOBRE O ÁLBUM:
Regimes políticos se erguem e caem. As estrelas brilham e desaparecem.
